We are starting a new giveaway that will be called "Mailbag Mondays and Fuzzi Fridays." The way that it will work is that the first Monday of every month, we will solicit questions from you that you would like Tereson to answer.Whether it be a personal question (ex. Why did you invent Fuzzibunz? How do you manage your time between work and home?) or maybe a troubleshooting question (What is the best detergent to use for FuzziBunz?)
We will choose 2 winners and their questions will be answered in a short video from Tereson. One winner will be randomly chosen the other will be the most creative/interesting question.
The winner of the creative question of the month will win 3 FuzziBunz and the winner of the random question will win 1 FuzziBunz - so make your question count!
We will do this once a month to start, and if we have a good reception, we might do it weekly.
Here are the rules:
1. You must be a public follower of this blog
2. You may only ask one question per month - so make interesting!
3. The winners will be announced on Fuzzi Fridays during Tereson's video
4. You must leave your email address in your comment so I can contact you when you win
5. You have until Thursday at 11:59pm to submit your question.
6. Make it fun!

What's you're nighttime diapering solution? My daughter is not a heavy wetter by day, but she is at night and also sleeps for very long periods at night. Do you have a method that you have found to work best to prevent having to change the sheets every day? We've tried several things, but even when we used disposables they leaked at night too.
ReplyDeleteThanks!

ReplyDeleteGO FuzziBunz!! We love them!!
Why did Fuzzi Bunz remake their pattern from old style pointy tabs to the new style perfect size diapers? I am and always will love the old style fuzzi bunz much more the sizing and fit we're much better. Any thoughts on a limited old style sale. I need more for my newst DD and don't want to buy used.

One of my son's (2.5 years old) favorite things to do is to sneak out one of his brother's (1 year old) clean diapers to make forts for his dinosaurs, garages for his cars, etc. Then of course that means time for us to play together.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: Have you any stories of any such creative projects that you want to share with us?

Any chance we could get a FB seconds sale? Some of us are not so picky about the cosmetics and love your product!
ReplyDeleteWhat made you decide to cloth diaper in the first place? And then what made you decide that you would not only make your own diapers, but draft your own pattern as well?
ReplyDeleteThanks!

Trouble shooting question: Any idea why I had one diaper, out of my whole stash, become damaged? It was a newer OS (apple green). The PUL on the inside stuck to itself and ripped out of the leg seam. I'm baffled because this only happened to one diaper. Still loving the diapers though!

My daughter is a heavy wetter. What do you suggest for a 17 month old who can wet through most cloth diapers even with additional inserts/stuffers/soaker pads? seehorce(at)yahoo(dot)com
ReplyDeleteWhat gave you the wonderful idea to start sharing your seconds diapers with orphanages, etc? I used to work at Amani Baby Cottage in Uganda, and I became super impressed with your products. Now that I'm about to have my 3rd child (first two adopted from Amani,) I am sold on using Fuzzibunz b/c of my great experience while volunteering!

ReplyDeleteWhat gave you the idea to invent Fuzzibunz (was it because you couldn't find any other diapers that worked for you, did you just want to invent your own, etc...) and how long did FuzziBunz take to become "world famous"!!
ReplyDeleteIn lieu of the organic and "shop local" lifestyle that may follow (some) FuzziBunz users for being environmentally friendly, will you consider finding a production venue that would manufacture FuzziBunz in the U.S.A.?

I would love to hear your story and all about how Fuzzi Bunz came to be.
ReplyDeleteMy question is what is your background - were you in sales or marketing before you began making Fuzzi Bunz or were you just a mom with an idea?

ReplyDeleteIs there a certain type of diaper liner that you would recommend using with fuzzibunz? I had no trouble when it was summer and we were sunning the diapers...but now that the cold cold winter has arrived I seem to get staining that won't come out. Any other suggestions if not liners? :-)

How do you recommend getting the barn yard funk smell out of fuzzibunz? (The diaper itself, not the insert)
ReplyDeleteWe have a stash of 14 old style (LOVE the old style pointy tabs!) ... The inserts are not a problem - I bleach the heck out of them about every 6 weeks. My wash routine is 2 cold rinses, 1 hot wash with tide original powder, 2 cold rinses. I have tried bac-out and sensiclean and even tried 1 time using a bit of bleach on the diapers themselves - still got the barn yard stinkies. Help.

ReplyDeleteMy local FuzziBunz retailer is no longer going to carry them because they're now available online at Target and she's already being way undersold. She simply can't afford the smaller profit margin like Target can because she's a very small business. What can small, local retailers do to compete with larger businesses as cloth diapering comes back into the mainstream, and how can FuzziBunz help them do it? aecwilfong@gmail.com

BLEACH? What is the issue with bleach?
ReplyDeleteI use bumGenius 3.0 and FuzziBunz and I truly love them both, for different reasons. The washing instructions for the bumGenius say that one a month, 1/4 cup of bleach can be used. Why does FuzziBunz specifically say NOT to use bleach?

Tereson,
ReplyDeleteIf a new mother asked you "why she should use FuzziBunz" what would say to her in a few sentences?
Also a question other moms ask me when they hear I use cloth. "What do you do with the poo?" If you can give me a good quick answer to that one I will be ever so happy!
Best,

have you ever considered a hospital program or service? The staff loved my diapers and I bet many new moms would pick up the "habit" if they were properly introduced and not so intimidated once they heard the words "cloth diapers".
